Japanese maples are the „créme de la créme“ of every garden. A majestic looking tree needs no pruning at all and we recommend letting it form its own shape.
Description of the plant:
This Japanese maple is an item for collectors. It was first delivered from Japan in 1967 and offer multicoloured leaves. They are deeply lobed, mid green with creamy white, slightly serrated margins that turn pink. It resembles another variety called Butterfly but has larger leaves and smaller growth. Autumn leaves turn burgundy red in the upper part of the shrub, and orange at the bottom.

It grows slowly and can be placed in full sun. Japanese maples prefer acidic to neutral soil, moist but well drained, semi-fertile. Mulch it well. Fully hardy to -27°C (USDA zone 5).
