Description of the plant:
Triplet lily is a beautiful and easy cormous perennial. It flowers from end June for about 3 weeks. Flowers are star shaped, violet-blue, borne on 30-50 long stems, each bearing about 10 blooms. Mid green leaves are linear. Cut flowers last 2 weeks in a vase, or left uncut in the garden they bloom for 3 weeks. The flowers look very much like agapanthus. It needs moist, but well-drained (especially in winter), sandy loam, rich in organic material. Water and feed it freely every 3 weeks from spring until the flowers have gone. Then keep it dry. Well mulched it is fully hardy to -28°C (USDA zone 5).
