Echinacea 'CHEYENNE SPIRIT'™ coneflower

Cheyenne Spirit™ is a fantastic mixed-colour coneflower from Kieft Seed. This award winning perennial produces large flowers of striking colours including yellow, golden orange, soft red, purple red and similar shades which cannot even be named. It flowers in its first year when propagated from seeds. Blooming begins in late June and continues until the first frosts if the plant is strong enough to produce new buds along the stems.

Coneflowers are maintenance-free perennials that have beautiful flowers in various colour shades from mid summer until early fall. They come out on sturdy stems that do not break in wind or heavy rain. Flowers attract butterflies and bumble bees. Lanceolate leaves grow from the ground and then up along the stems.

Cheyenne Spirit™ coneflower comes in mixed-colour pots so if you prefer a certain colour make a note when ordering a plant stating which colour you wish to prevail and we will try to find a clump that will suit your colour taste.

Coneflower will tolerate almost any soil type but boggy. It loves full sun. Deadheading will prolong flowering time. It is suitable for mixed borders with perennials, or can be used as a flowering feature among low shrubs and conifers, and looks lovely when planted in a mass in a container on patios and balconies. Fully hardy to min. -34°C (USDA zone 4).
