Description of the plant:
Pink Dwarf is a compact gaura with pure pink flowers and reduced size. It is a perennial with extra long blooming season and which requires very little or no care at all. It emerges in late spring with deep burgundy red leaves turning green in summer when it matures to a dense and bushy clump with plenty of thin stems 30-40 cm tall.

In the wild gaura lives in naturally moist lands where it thrives. In the garden grow it in equally moist but well drained soil in full sun. Once established it tolerates summer drought. The richer soil the more flowers you get so if unsure about your soil quality fertilize it with any common fertilizer for flowering plants when in bloom. Hardy to about -25°C (USDA zone 6) and mulching is recommended for areas with long lasting frost without snow.
