Lavandula angustifolia 'SILVER LEAF' lavender

Silver Leaf is a tall growing selection of French lavender with evergreen, glittering, silvery foliage on a sunny and dry day. The leaves are wider compared with the species and very fragrant. From early summer until midsummer it produces 60-80 cm tall stems with short spikes of aromatic violet colours.
It is best grown in masses in order to fully display its colour. It is not picky about soil type provided it is well drained. It is a sun loving plant that is used to growing in dry conditions and may rot in wet soil. Cut back last year’s growth to 10-15 cm every spring to keep it bushy and compact. Fully hardy to min. -27°C (USDA 5b).
