Ligustrum ovalifolium 'AUREUM' golden privet

It is a perfect plant for semi-shaded areas that will highlight the contrast of the leaves. Although it is a hardy plant it may be slightly burnt after the first winter before it is fully established, but it re-sprouts quickly and reliably. Tiny white flowers are born in dense panicles in mid-summer.
We suggest planting it in locations without winter sunshine. It grows upright, fast and dense, you can prune, trim or clip it as you wish to any desired shapes. It tolerates any soil but wet. If you plant it in good soil that will not get dry over winter it will hold more, healthy-looking leaves. Hardy to about -29°C (USDA zone 5).
