Lilies are not just beautiful cut flowers. In perennial beds same as carefully planted among shrubs or trees they will dazzle with bright colours, shapes, and sizes of their blooms. And be sure we select the grandest of the great ones only!Description of the plant:
“African Queen” bears large, trumpet-shaped flowers that keep its shape even when fully opened. The colour is rich apricot orange to golden yellow inside with brown stripes with light green shades outside. It is derived from Asiatic species. It can get quite tall – about 1.5m when mature. Lilies are easy, maintenance-free tuberous perennials that do best when left grown without taking out. They need fertile, slightly acidic soil, always moist, even in winter. Plant the bulbs at a depth of 2-3 times their height. Check for pests after the leaves have emerged. Fully hardy.
