Description of the plant:
Red Alert is a hybrid lily between longiflorum and Asiatic. The flowers are large, deep red, and unlike other LA hybrids they have a light sweet perfume. It has strong stems and flowers profusely. Grows about 1m tall.Lilies are easy, maintenance-free tuberous perennials that do best when left grown without taking out. They need fertile, slightly acidic soil, always moist, even in winter. Plant the bulbs at a depth of 2-3 times their height. Check for pests after the leaves have emerged. Fully hardy.
