Description of the plant:
Neon Purple is a perennial phlox from the Peacock™ series. It produces abundance of bright purple red flowers composed in rich panicles in shorter stems compared to older varieties. The plant remains compact and bushy with mid to dark green, lanceolate leaves that are highly resistant to powdery mildew. Striking flower colour, smaller size, and healthy foliage makes this perennial a sought after plant also for modern and city gardens where older varieties might look disturbing.Growing phlox is easy. It likes almost any garden soil, fertile or poor, but with enough nutrients the flowering will be heavier and the plant will not suffer common phlox diseases. They are long-lived plants that will stay in your garden until you dig them out. Sunny location is preferred but will flower in partial shade, too. Hardy to about -34°C (USDA zone 4).
