Description of the plant:
Common oak is a majestic tree, native to Europe. This variety, however, has strictly upright growth and reduced size so it is suitable for medium-sized gardens, too. The leaves are obovate, with rounded lobes, mid green. Old leaves remain on the tree until the spring when new ones are born. It tolerates all soil types, even very poor, is often planted in infertile areas, withstands salt scavenging. If not planted in sun it will grown a thin, long stem till it reaches its rays. Fully hardy.
