Description of the plant:
Hansestadt Rostock® is a charming
polyantha (floribunda) rose introduction by Rosen Tantau from 2010. This healthy and extremely floriferous rose produces delicate flowers of rich apricot orange and golden colour that changes to soft salmon pink as the blooms fade out. They have a lovely, sweet tea perfume, not very strong but surely attractive. This rose is disease resistant and repeats blooming from June until October. Thanks to bushy habit it makes a perfect standard rose with dense crowns, filled with beautiful flowers in the backround of lush, healthy foliage.

Planting instructions: Prepare a hole of size 30x30 cm. Put your rose in the way that the grafting point is 3 cm deep in the soil. Water well and cover new shoots with soil or bark mulch about 15 cm high. Roses tolerate wide range of soils but thrive in deep, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil, in full sun.

Pruning: These roses needn’t be pruned. What you can do though is deadhead stems with spent flowers above the first leaf with 5 leaflets. You can trim the shrub in early spring.
