Description of the plant:
LAMBADA® is a repeat-flowering floribunda rose with a fantastic shade of dark orange, reminiscent of late-season tangerine zest. The breeder states that the flowers have a diameter of 6-7 cm, but we've always measured at least 8 cm, and they are packed with petals forming a semi-double to fully double flowers. They open wide and look like a cross between a hybrid tea rose and an English rose. They have a weak, sweet fragrance with a bit of exotic hint. As the flower reaches its peak, the golden tone fades, and the bloom matures into a soft salmon-pink hue. LAMBADA® is part of the Heckenzauber® (Hedge Charmers®) series because it grows upright to about 120 cm and is perfect for rose hedges. For dense hedges use at least 3 plants per meter or ideally 2 rows of 3 at the front and 2-3 at the back (zigzag). It is significantly resistant to both heat and diseases and can also be grown in partial shade. It was bred by Tim Hermann Kordes in Germany and introduced in 2002.

Planting instructions: Prepare a hole of size 30x30 cm. Put your rose in the way that the grafting point is 3 cm deep in the soil. Water well and cover new shoots with soil or bark mulch about 15 cm high. Roses tolerate wide range of soils but thrive in deep, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil, in full sun.

Pruning: Cut the branches in half in autumn and prune hard to 3-5 live buds in spring after danger of frosts. During the flowering season prune flowered stems regularly and follow a regular feeding programme.
