Description of the plant:
Nina Weibull® is an award-winning rose from Danish breeders Poulsen Roser who have been breeding roses since 1923. This rose came to life in 1961 and ever since it was launched in 1962 it has been a sought-after and popular rose variety in most of the Northern hemisphere, especially for its hardiness and disease resistance. It produces medium-sized, semi-double, velvet-like, rich red flowers with occasional white marks or gleams, and medium green and glossy, healthy leaves. Nina Weibull® grows strictly upright, forming a compact bush with profusion of flowers from June until the first frost.

Planting instructions: Prepare a hole of size 30x30 cm. Put your rose in the way that the grafting point is 3 cm deep in the soil. Water well and cover new shoots with soil or bark mulch about 15 cm high. Roses tolerate wide range of soils but thrive in deep, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil, in full sun.

Pruning: These roses needn’t be pruned, yet they can be trimmed lightly in spring to encourage new growths and more compact bush. Deadheading spent flowers above the first leaf with 5 leaflets is recommended.
