Description of the plant:
PARFUM ROYAL CLIMBING® is a beautiful climbing rose with large, hot pink, strongly fragrant flowers. They have a typical hybrid-tea rose shape and deep, fruity sweet fragrance. There are 35 petals in a blossom whose reverse is silvery pink which gives the flower a certain touch of nobility, that's probably why it was called royal. It flowers profusely and reliably continuously from June until frost. Thanks to excellent branching it looks like a tall, upright shrub rose with lush, dark green and glossy, healthy foliage that covers the plant down to the ground, not revealing bare stems. Planting instructions: Prepare a hole of size 30x30 cm. Put your rose in the way that the grafting point is 3 cm deep in the soil. Water well and cover new shoots with soil or bark mulch about 15 cm high. Roses tolerate wide range of soils but thrive in deep, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil, in full sun.
Pruning: rambling or climbing roses are not supposed to be pruned. Just remove old or ill branches. Deadheading will help setting new flower buds.
