Description of the plant:
Mr.Goodbud is an excellent new variety of orpine from TerraNova Nurseries that was patented in 2005. This beauty was bred to achieve the best possible colour and dense habit and the result is amazing. Mr.Goodbud produces extremely large heads composed of vibrant purple pink flowers. They come out from early September and continue through to October. Leaves are deciduous, thick, large, oval, blue-green with some purple red shades near margins. No seeds made. Orpines are perfect plants for autumn borders. They add extra colour on an architecturally interesting plant. These perennials are easy to grow, they will like almost any well-drained soil, they do well in rockeries and outdoor pots. Cut them back in early spring. Fully hardy to min. -34°C (USDA zone 4).
