Description of the plant:
Tiny Tim is a dwarf arborvitae (white cedar) from 1955, similar to Golden Globe but with purely green leaves. It is a slow growing, evergreen conifer that keeps its globular shape even without pruning. In winter the leaves turn bronze. Completely care-free. Usual size is about half a meter, ultimate size in maturity is a little over 1 meter tall and wide. Thanks to slow growth it needs no or very little pruning that can be done at any time from early spring till early summer. It is soil tolerant but dislikes boggy locations and long-standing water as well as long-lasting drought. Just keep the soil moist after planting by mulching, and you will get a fantastic plant. Hardy to about -40°C (USDA zone 3).
