Description of the plant:
Tundra is a dwarf variety of Korean fir. It creates an almost perfect cushion of soft green colour. This dwarf conifer is evergreen, very compact, slow growing and mound-forming shrub with bright green needles whose colour remains fresh from January until December. The needles are short, glossy, soft to touch and silvery grey on the undersides. Tundra can grow about 25 cm tall and 40 cm wide in 10 years and it suitable for small gardens, rockeries, or planting in large pots on patios or even balconies. It is absolutely maintenance-free. Just plant it in slightly acidic, evenly moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Fully hardy to about -29°C (USDA zone 5).
