Description of the plant:
DESERT EVE™ is a new series of řebříčku with shorter stems, compact habit, and long-lasting flowers. DESERT EVE™ Yellow bears banana yellow flowers arranged in almost flat corymbs. When they open from buds their colours is amber orange but they soon turn yellow and remain so until the flower fade away. It forms a neat and bushy tuft about 40 cm tall only which makes it a perfect plant for combination with other medium sized perennials, or planted between non-flowering shrubs. Fern-like leaves are fine and deep green, basal leaves are larger than stem leaves. Once the main flowering has finished you can cut off the stems to encourage new growths but it is not necessary.
Yarrow is a maintenance-free perennial suitable for standard flower beds as well as dry locations and rockeries. It tolerates wide range of soils except for boggy and wet. Full sun is best. Fully hardy to -40°C (USDA zone 3).
