If there is a perennial heaven, there must be plenty of blanket flowers. This is such a beautiful flowering plant that should not be missing in any bed where bright colours and summer flowering are key features.Description of the plant:
Arizona Apricot is a fantastic blanket flower variety with daisy-like golden yellow flowers with orange eyes. It blooms from June until late September or early October if early autumn is sunny and warm. Its stems are a little taller than on the other varieties from the Arizona series, yet they are strong, full of flowers, and keeping a dense habit. Deciduous leaves are light green. Arizona Apricot is a winner of All America Selections® from 2011.Blanket flowers need full sun and well-drained soil that does not remain wet especially in winter. They withstand drought once established. Arizona series is supposed to be hardy to almost -37°C (USDA zone 3).
