Description of the plant:
Lime Rickey is a modern variety of coral bells. It was bred by Janet Egger from Terra Nova Nurseries in Oregon, USA, and patented under PP16,210 in 2006. This coral bells is unique for its golden yellow new leaves that turn striking yellow-green summer. They have wavy margins remain evergreen until the temperature drops down significantly in December or January. Tiny, white flowers appear on thin stems in June and July.Coral bells can take almost any soil, as well as full sun and humidity. Lime Rickey is resistant to powdery mildew and does not suffer from sun-scorch if grown in evenly moist soil. For best results grow it in humus-rich, constantly moist soil in full sun or part shade. Fully hardy to abt. -34°C (USDA zone 4) and can be grown in outdoor pots.
