Yarrow is an easy-to-grow perennial which requires almost no care apart from spring cleaning. As a summer bloomer it is best used in beds and borders we enjoy looking at and passing by during the hottest months of the year. It looks great in prairie-type gardens along with coneflowers or in large rockeries. Yarrow may come a but underestimated by landscape architects but having a wide pallet of colours and sizes nowadays it does suit almost any setting.
Description of the plant:
Yellow Bouquet is a yarrow variety from the Rainbow® series. It makes soft pastel yellow flowers composed in 6-10 cm wide, almost flat cymes atop 40-50 cm tall, strong, upright stems. Blooming begins in late June and may continue until September if stems with spent flowers are removed immediately after flowering. Fern-like leaves are finely cut and rich grass green, basal leaves are larger than stem leaves. The habit is mound-forming to dome-shaped.

Yarrow is a maintenance-free perennial suitable for standard flower beds as well as dry locations and rockeries. It tolerates wide range of soils except for boggy and wet. Full sun is best. Fully hardy to min. -34°C (USDA zone 4).
