Description of the plant:
Moonshine is a handsome addition to the pink and red flowering family of yarrows. It cheers up every border with its bright yellow flowers and silvery foliage. It is a cross between a. clypeolata and a. Taygetea and makes shorter, compact, and dense clumps about 40-60 cm tall and wide. Leaves are aromatic, fern-like dissected, pale green with silver hairs. Yarrow is a maintenance-free perennial suitable for standard flower beds as well as dry locations and rockeries. It tolerates wide range of soils except for boggy and wet. Full sun is best. Removing stems with spent flowers will enhance formation of new flowering stems throughout summer. Fully hardy to min. -34°C (USDA zone 4).
