Description of the plant:
Sea thrift is a rock perennial which is at home in almost all parts of northern hemisphere. ARMADA™ is a popular series with bright coloured flowers. ARMADA™ Rose bears bright pink flowers on about 15 cm tall leafless stems from June until July. Linear leaves are soft, dark green, semi-evergreen in our climate. They form a nice tuft. Thrifts love open, sunny locations, free draining, and poor to moderately fertile soil. They will be happy with a little bit of rain once in a while. What they hate are water-logged soils with standing water during and after the rain. Grow them like real alpines and you will see how beautifully they will do. Hardy to about -34°C (USDA zone 4).
